Building a Warm "Fortress" Against the Pandemic! Glory Home Furnishings Donates Additional

2022-03-08 0

On the afternoon of March 7th, the production workshop of Zhejiang Glory Home Technology Co., Ltd. in Dayun Town was quiet yet busy. Memory foam pillows fresh off the assembly line were swiftly packaged and loaded onto trucks, rushing to the Dayun Town government at lightning speed. These "Warm Brand" supplies will be delivered to the front lines of the epidemic battle, supporting volunteers in their fight against the pandemic.

The Virus is Merciless, But Humanity Shines.

"As an enterprise, this critical moment of nationwide pandemic prevention demands corporate responsibility and social commitment. Medical workers and volunteers fighting on the front lines endure immense hardship—we hope these donations can modestly contribute to their efforts," said Weng Zhenqiang, General Manager of Zhejiang Glory Home Technology Co., Ltd. Recognizing volunteers' sleepless nights and poor rest, the bedding manufacturer expedited production over the weekend to donate supplies for frontline medical staff and volunteers.

Glory Home Furnishings donated 180 mattresses and 180 pillows, valued at 130,000 RMB. This marks the company's second donation to support epidemic prevention efforts. Previously, Deng Zehua, Chairman of Zhejiang Glory Home Technology Co., Ltd. and President of the Dayun Branch of the Intellectuals Association, represented the company in donating 1 million RMB to the Dayun Town Charity Branch to aid Wuhan's COVID-19 response, making Glory the first compassionate enterprise in Jiashan to contribute to Wuhan's pandemic control.

"Gaoyu Home Furnishings' charitable donation fully demonstrates the company's social responsibility and compassionate spirit during this pandemic. Their generosity will inspire every frontline worker to combat the outbreak with greater determination and perseverance, taking concrete actions to win this battle," said Shi Jiangtao, Deputy Party Secretary of Dayun Town. He added that the supplies would be distributed to village (community) checkpoints, allowing volunteers on the epidemic frontlines to feel the warmth of both government and enterprises, jointly safeguarding the "security gates" and strengthening the "epidemic defense wall."
